Music at Trinity-by-the-Cove

A New Pipe Organ

For generations, music has been at the heart of worship at Trinity-by-the-Cove. From joyful hymns and choral anthems to weddings, funerals, and festival celebrations, our pipe organ faithfully led the musical life of the parish.

This page follows the journey of Trinity's new pipe organ-from the loss of our beloved instrument after Hurricane Ian to the design, construction, and eventual installation of a new organ that will one day fill our faithfully replicated church with music once again.

From Loss to New Life

For decades, Trinity-by-the-Cove's pipe organ was one of the defining voices of our parish-leading congregational singing, accompanying choirs, and enriching weddings, funerals, feast days, and weekly worship.

Hurricane Ian brought that chapter to an unexpected close in September 2022. Flooding caused extensive damage throughout the church, and the beloved instrument ultimately could not be saved.

A Treasured Instrument

The former organ faithfully supported the worship and musical life of Trinity-by-the-Cove for generations.

A New Vision

The parish chose not simply to replace what had been lost, but to create an instrument designed for Trinity's worship and future.

Music for Generations

The new organ will one day fill Trinity-by-the-Cove's faithfully replicated church with music once again.
